Pack.Unpack.Wash.Repack.
The story of our lives for the next few weeks. In NH for Thanksgiving, off to IA on Wed to celebrate Christmas with Ryan's family. It will be great to see everyone and the girls are super excited about spending some time with their cousins.
In other news, when did almost 5 year olds become so sassy. Aly's newest treat is to leave for preschool without a coat. It is really not that cold - she told me this morning. Hello it was 30 this morning. I know it gets worse but seriously....
I was up at 4:30 this morning...to feed Jackson and then head out to run with a couple of ladies that I met at the Y. It was SUPER fun to run with people again. I miss the chatting that seems to make running easier. They meet 3 times per week so I am hoping to join them, the time is early enough that I can add some miles before Ryan needs to catch the train.

Thankful
Sometimes life passes so quickly that we spend little time appreciating the things that we have. We have enjoyed spending this week in NH even though it is WAY colder than PA. Not too cold that my 22lb butterball could not spend a little time enjoying his shadow.
We spent Thanksgiving morning hiking up Pack Monadnock, normally it is an easy hike.....except when you are carrying someone on your shoulders or back. The girls did great for being so little, they made the 2.6 mile hike.....it was COLD so we left Jackson sleeping at home
Aly spent some time helping Nonna baking and getting ready for Thanksgiving
Tomorrow we will head out for Ryans FAVORITE day.....no seriously he pours through the ads and loves Black Friday (I think it is because we are in Tax Free NH)....so off we will go....
Happy Thanksgiving

On the go
ohh he is growing so fast.....slow down already...my big boy.
we saw Ryan for a long 24 hours...before we flew to NH for the Thanksgiving holiday. He will join us at some point Wednesday - hopefully in time for baths ;). I am ready to have two parents in the same house for an extended period of time.
We did hit the Lansdale parade on Sat to welcome Santa....a long 2 hours and about 4 lbs of candy later we were home. The girls LOVED it. Jackson thought it was pretty cool too until it interfered with his afternoon nap. He did sleep in the Bjorn though - good thing he still fits in that.
I ran a 5k on Sat am before the parade. I think the race plan said "run like you feel like your are going to puke" pretty much sums up how I felt the entire race. I did have a PR which was nice pre Turkey surprise.
We are here until Sat and then head to IA next Wed. These next 6 weeks are going fly by!

Who needs turkey?
When you have a 22lb butterball? Check out the rolls on this kid....he seriously loves to eat...I am sure his first Thanksgiving will be great.
The girls had their turkey lunch at preschool today. Briannas class put on a little show and some songs...
Ryan comes home tomorrow. I am running a 5k on Sat am with a couple of girls and then we head to NH on Sunday night. Let the holiday traveling begin!

and the week goes on.....
So my hands have either been covered in frosting or paint.....either way they have been busy!
These are the turkeys and pilgrim hats we made for the preschool Thanksgiving feast tomorrow. Both Aly and Brianna have class dinners tomorrow. I am sure Jackson is excited about his dual lunch.
The other project was to put chair rail in the playroom and paint the bottom with washable paint. Mission accomplished. Ryan will come home to a whole painted and fresh house!

When the cat is away......
the mice will play......that is what is happening at our house this week.
Ryan is in Tawain.....which may not be all that bad. So far
the downstairs bathroom has been repainted
the mudroom has been repainted
there is a new flower bed edging in
the lawn has been overseeded
oh how Lowes and I have been such good friends this week...I am sure Ryan is having a fun each morning looking at the bills from the previous day ( yes, every morning) good thing there is an 18 hour time difference - ha ha.
This was the mudroom before
and after....
Love the paint, good thing because it would have been repainted if the color was not right. I still want to add chair rail to the kids playroom, plant the million bulbs I bought in the new flower bed, and register for the Half Ironman in June.

Jackson 6 months
Two bottom teeth broke through this week. He has been a trooper for the most part, just sleeping more during the day. He wants nothing to do with baby food, he wants what is at the table. No big deal, we are making it work.
He is starting to sleep more.....I'll post this and then he will be back to every three hours. The past couple of nights he has gone about 7 to 8 hours - YAHOO.
Loves his sisters, the ceiling fan, and bouncing in the jumperoo. He is sitting on his own. Last time we weighed him he was 21.5 lbs. Looking forward to the holidays with one that only cares about the wrapping paper.

Big Shoes.......
That pretty much sums up my week - I have some big shoes to fill.....
So many things this week...tomorrow we are serving dinner at church. Tonight we went and bought all of the food and I will spend the majority of tomorrow getting it ready. Food for 50 - is a LOT of food. All while my three little munchkins tear apart thr house.
Saturday is Brianna's 3rd Birthday - next year remind me that it is always smarter to host elsewhere. We have friends and family coming into town and staying at the house starting tomorrow. I am super excited to see everyone and celebrate these occasions.
Sunday is Jacksons christening. If we can get him out of Aly's twinkle toes.......Off to bed.
