More later......

We returned to PA, after a short trip to NH and CT.  Ryan returned safely from New Zealand.  While he was there, our laptop kicked the bucket.  Hopefully the repair parts are enroute.  There seems to be a theme when he is out of the country and important items dying; first the car then the laptop.

I have tons of pics and stories.  The girls sat and we cheered for USA in the Hockey game tonight.  Of course it was not complete without Aly breaking out the purple pom poms and cheering for team blue.

More to come when the parts get here.......

Busy, Busy, Busy

We have been BUSY!  Preparing feasts with all of our food, working on potty training, buying cars to
accomodate the new addition, and preparing for our guest who arrive tonight!!!

We are super excited to invite Aunt Shelley, Uncle Barry, Aunt Brooke and of couse Callum to PA for their first visit.  Then on Sunday Nona flies in from NH to spend a couple days with us before we make the trek to NH.

Of course we will be traveling in style - well mommy style that is:  as we bought a van this past weekend.  We needed a car that would fit our family and the girls LOVE it.  I love that they can get in and out by themselves and the automatic door feature.

Here are a few pics of our busy girls.....

A little glimpse of our world.......

So we move south and look what happens.....record snowfall in PA.  The last week has been unreal we had
two storms that literally dropped two feet of snow.  These were taken yesterday afternoon  - we went out in the morning and built Frosty and he fell over due to all the weight of the snow on top of him.

In other news, both girls got tubes in their ears this morning.  I was super thankful that Ryan was there to help as waking up from the anethesia was not all that fun.   They did great, and are back to normal this evening.  It was nice that CIGNA was closed once again so Ryan did not even need to take the day off.

I love this picture, they are watching Ryan plow the neighbors house

Redemption

Ryan arrived home at last night, just beating the snow.  The girls were soo excited for him - they stayed up until after 10 waiting for him.  The did fall asleep quickly once he tucked them in.  Oh to have daddy home.

The best part.....CIGNA was closed today in PA.  Hello my prayers were answered.  SO we are all home today, expecting another foot of snow.  This was Aly at 9:30 this morning, building her frosty.  Good use of dog food for the face.  Hopefully the dogs don't eat frosty in one of their outings.

So we are cuddled in drinking hot cocoa and watching Barney.  Life does not get much better.

One of Those Days........

You know when have one of those days where you wake up and know something is just not right.....

Maybe it is because even after walking the dogs, they both bolted out of the garage on me and took off before 7 am this morning.....yep trudging through 2 feet of snow in search of them.

or  that I had to take my glucose test for pregnancy this morning, that one that makes you fast until you drink this terrible sugar drink and feel like crud for the rest of the day.   Even more delightful was the fact that I needed to wait until I took the girls to preschool so I could not have anything to eat until after 11.

or the idea that after finishing the glucose test, I ran around trying to get the remainder of valentines stuff done, only to be at the last errand to have the car die in the parking lot, a mere 10 minutes before pick up time.

or that there is going to be an additional foot of snow dropped tomorrow night when Ryan's flight is supposed to come in.

The Cleaning Lady

The girls were playing in the basement and I called them up for dinner.  When Aly got upstairs she commented that there was a lot of dog hair on the basement steps.  She then said, " Don't worry I told Brianna you were the cleaning lady and you would take care of it."

Brianna came up shortly and says "Cleaning lady there is dog hair on the stairs"

I guess there could be worse names........

How we spent our Sunday afternoon

SNOW AGAIN

We woke up this morning to a good 18" of snow and it was still falling fast ans furious.  Swimming lessons were cancelled so we did some things around the house.  The snow started to slow down around noon, so Ryan broke out the plow and we cleared the driveway and sidewalks.  Brianna went out for a short while but decided that it was a little too deep for her liking.

Ryan's flight shows that it is still departing out of JFK tonight, so he left to make the 2 hour drive north.  Hopefully he does not get stranded in NY.

Man we miss Mexico ........

Updates.....

Recovering from vacation is hard.....maybe the combination of travel and that I am 27 weeks along, man I am tired.   Thank goodness that Aly has decided that she is going to nap a couple of days this week so that I can rest right along with her.

Ryan leaves for Spain tomorrow, but we are supposed to get 20" of snow, which is relatively unheard of here.  It is a short trip so he can't really delay his trip by a day since he is supposed to come home on Tuesday.

The girls are now sharing a room - man how cute they are sleeping together in the bunk beds - I will have to post pics later this weekend.  They LOVE it.... coming into our room in the morning together, I am sure as they get older there will be quite a bit of talking before sleep actually happens.

Will get some pics of the snow this weekend.....

What is wrong with this picture?

Aly has pants on.....only because they matched the pink suede boots she found in the closet.  First time in over a year the girl chose to wear pants.

Spent

I am beat - I wish we were still in Mexico - it was so relaxing.  I am headed to bed - I have tons of posts, but no energy to write them out.  I fell asleep on the couch while Ryan gave the girls a bath tonight.  I think the 3.5 hours of Dr appts did me in today.  I lasted a measly 2.5 miles on the precor before I had to get off , I was just so tired.

The good news is Miller Baby #3 is looking great.  Weighing in at 2 lbs and measuring right at 27 weeks.  I cannot believe that it will be here in 3 months.  We have so much to do.  More tomorrow........
