A little Bling

Tonight we made necklaces before bed.  Check out Aly's ring.....

She has been wearing it non stop.....its slightly obnoxious.

Here is another view so that you can see how ginormous it really is...

I hope whomever she marries is prepared....

And then there is Bri....check out her arm.  After bath tonight she put all of these stickers up and down her arms.

Same parents I swear....sometimes I wonder though.
Jackson....well, he is just the happiest baby around.

Thats just how we roll

Yep, Jackson is a rolling.  Dog hair here we come!!!!  He did it at the park yesterday while on his blanket and he just smiled this big grin...  Yep I am in trouble.

I feel like he is rivaling the dogs for the biggest boy in the house

In other news, we have officially tired out our playset and the local playgrounds.  Yesterday we went to a playground in the morning and then came back here with friends and played ALL DAY - until 5:30 pm.

So this morning after my run, we headed to the craft store to see what we could find.

We found these cute bags that we could decorate with sequins and paint.  That was a fun way to spend the afternoon.

We are looking forward to daddy coming home in a few days.

Kickin it in Philly!

Aly is playing soccer this summer.  I would not say she loves it.  She likes the kids, kicking the ball, and the snacks after the games.  Honestly, it is a lot for a 4 year old; twice a week for an hour and a half.

Hauling 3 kids to the field on Mondays and Wednesdays is a lot for mom.

She loved tonight because she played JD's team.  I think Brianna is more in love with JD but here are some pics

Please notice she is not even looking at the ball, but the camera!

Check him out- totally into it!

Brianna wants to play sooo bad, sadly she has another 2 years until she can play.  She does love that there is usually a playground to help pass the time.

Off and running

Yep, we were at the zoo again.  We had friends from CT come for the weekend and we headed to the zoo.  Sat was much more crowded, but we still managed to have a blast.  Here are some pics of the Zoo Balloon, which you can ride, it goes 400 feet up in the air and gives a great view of the city!

This picture is not great but the five kids were riding the train.

Jackson came along for the ride.  He has been working on rolling over and getting that thumb in his mouth

Just one happy kid!

Updates.....

I am too tired to upload pics tonight - it seems like we rarely slow down.  This week we had a field trip with Alys class.  Jackson and I went to chaperone, it was at a farm and everyone had fun.

We had an awesome playdate at our house this afternoon.  I met a family who has two girls that are the same ages and she is expecting their 3rd in a few weeks.  It is AWESOME that I found someone who has three kids, this is a first for us and we are coming up on the year anniversary of being in PA.

The girls are doing great!  Ryan leaves tomorrow for his 10 day trip to Indonesia, China and Hong Kong.  Please keep your fingers crossed that we stay healthy and Jackson begins to sleep longer!

I will post pics tomorrow.....

Jackson 3 Months

To celebrate Jackson's "3 month" birthday we went to the fair on Thursday.  The girls had fun riding the rides and eating ice cream.  Jackson got to try cotton candy courtesy of dad!

A couple of pics of the fair

In other news, Jackson is still growing by leaps and bounds.  He started really using his hands and grabbing for things.  Ryan weighed him last night and he was about 18.5 lbs.  Both girls hit 20 lbs around the first year mark.  He is sooo full of smiles though - I will take the happy baby!

Cooking for Jackson

We have been busy cooking.....it is hot here and we have been inside for most of the day.  The girls have been really getting into their kitchen and making some meals.

Someones got to eat all those meals right?
Guess whose willing to take on that task?

Enter Jackson - always ready for the task....eating that is.  Still on the three hour schedule.

Morale of the story......a full baby is a happy one!

The other cousins....

Right before we left for vacation, our other Iowa cousins came to visit.  The girls had been looking forward to them visiting for a while.  We did the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.....it was tons of fun.

The boys were great with the girls - there is such an age difference and they were patient with all of the dress up and Dora what they got to experience that week

Thanks for coming Tammy, Dallas and Matthew

A Day at the Beach

We spent our last day of vacation at the beach.  It was fun, the kids loved the water, playing in the sand and just getting dirty.  The water was much colder than the beach in Atlantic City that we have been to this summer.  The waves were not as big but the kids had a great time.

We did not torture Jackson and make him try the water again...he did enjoy just hanging out in the tent and chilling with Lyla.
