The swim did not get cancelled - the water was a warm 86 degrees.
The bike was fast and flat - a great tail wind coming back from the turnaround
The run was hilly - whoever said that Iowa was flat lied.
It took me over 20 minutes to get these two pictures to load so the swim and bike will have to do.
Did I mention I BROKE 3 HOURS - YAHOOOOOOO!

I am so excited for Mom! I knew three times would be the charm to complete the triathlon and why not in IOWA?!
Looks like you had a good time in your travels (especially the cupcake).
Of course, I liked seeing Grandma Miller in the swing picture!
