Wordless Wednesday

We have only been home for a hour.....

Sometimes everything goes so smoothly and you think, man having two kids really is not all that bad. And then in an hour BAM!! that thought changes to why did I ever have two children.

First never go to the grocery store directly from preschool - it apparently results in all out Terror. Aly needed to use the potty after every aisle. Brianna insisted on throwing everything within her reach out of the cart. Apparently lots of outside running to ensure my children were tired was not on the agenda for school.

I don't understand why people think I am not being serious when they tell me that my kids are so cute and I ask them if they would like them for the afternoon. Somehow they always just laugh and keep going.

We arrived home and being the smart mom that I am, I set the eggs and my coffee on the top of the car to ensure that they did not get damaged during the stampede into the house. Only to have Aly show me how she can not shut the door - I thought the door might fall off but luckily I escaped that and only lost my eggs and my coffee - apparently ceramic and cement do not love each other.

Great Evening

The weather was so nice today. We had a short thunderstorm that ended with a great rainbow. We had dinner and then went out for a bike ride/push. The girls were beat when they got home so off to bed they went. Aly's eye looks much better.

Ponytails and Big Bites

We have been enjoying the great weather here the past few weeks. The girls love popsicles and the music truck - also known as the ice cream man does come down our street on a regular basis.


Brianna is growing up soo fast. She starting to want to do everything that Aly does. She loves dress up and purses. Here she is in Aly's shoes and my purse.

Ahh yes, and we have gotten our first bug bite of the season. Complete with the eye swelling shut. We need to be extra careful about bug spray this summer.

And the first ponytail for Brianna, I think it stayed in a whopping 1/2 hour.

I wish Jack Bauer was my friend

My cell phone is missing. Someone either took it from my work today or it walked away on its own. I just wish that for once in the midst of the craziness I could call Jack Bauer to find my phone.

I mean this guy single handly finds terrorists and can track anyone from anywhere. Do you think he might be willing to find my phone?

JUMP JUMP

We spent the afternoon with our friends on their trampoline. The girls LOVED it.

They came home exhausted. YAHOO for Mom.

Enjoying the "Summer" weather

Aly spent part of the afternoon swimming in the hot tub while Brianna napped. We got diving sticks and she has been spending a good amount of time hiding them on the seats of the hot tub and then going to get them.

Since I wasn't really interested in going in with Brianna we switched to bubbles once she got up. Brianna still thinks that it is important to eat the bubbles and then try to blow them out of her mouth.

Tractors and Horses

Brianna was in love with the tractor - she did not want to give anyone else a chance to drive it. She could not even reach the pedals but she loved to sit on it and pretend to drive.

I love the one of Callum with the Munchkin box. I think secretly Shelley was cringing inside about the thought of Callum eating donuts - don't worry we only snuck him a little coffee - maybe that is why he was up at 3:45 am ready to go.
