Is it really winter?

What an odd winter we are having.....it was almost 60 today and we spent ALL day outside.

Back in the Saddle

I am currently sharing my bike....with Jackson...who is OBSESSED...with the bike.

Two weeks ago I got clearance from the ortho to get back on the bike...and since then I am duking it out with a 20 month old for time on my bike.

I still do not feel super and my hip is not 100%...apparently it takes a LONG time to heal torn ligaments in the hip.  I think I need to change my seat as well as that might be contributing to the problem.

This morning I got up early to ride and Jackson came down and sat for a while and just watched..then of course he thought it was his turn..he had waited patiently enough.  Thankfully daddy rescued him with the bribe of making pancakes.

Its been a while

We have been moving in ALL different directions.  See if you can find 7 cousins in the picture below:

We spent a long weekend in NH where grandma fed ice cream for breakfast!

We drove the tractor and played in the snow since there was none in PA.

Jackson is still mastering the bike...he is piling all the cushions next to the bike hops on!

A whole bunch of randomness

We head to NH this afternoon...it has felt more like April here than January.  I fear that we are not going to get ANY snow.....  We have been out riding bikes and teaching Jack how to ride the old pink two wheeler...I have a feeling once Ryan sees this a new bike will be in his future.

I have been swimming a ton.....some on my own and some with the Lansdale Catholic high school team.  I just got clearance to begin riding the bike again so it will be nice to shake it up a little.Ryan has been home the whole month of January so it seems like we have been able to spend more time on house projects and our to do list.

This week has been busy and crazy....lots going on here in PA with all good stuff going on..  Ryan's parents were in town until Tuesday and we spent a ton of time on the house and doing various projects that have been on our to do list for a while......Thanks to our painters, mulchers, child watchers while we did all that fun stuff!

So busy in fact that I had lined up a sitter so Ryan and I could go to dinner tonight and talk about some adult things and I TOTALLY forgot...she rang the bell as we were finishing dinner....GEEZ!

It is amazing that I get out of the house with my shoes on the right feet.  Jack has been loving the girls shoes and  jumping off the stairs.  He hasn't quite mastered the right feet thing either.

A new year

There is a definite resemblance...I am sure! If he is not terrorizing his sisters or the dogs he is asleep for sure.

We have been settling back to our normal routine, enjoying all of our holiday toys and keeping busy with school and playing.  The recent obsession is the ice cream maker play dough.....
